They also discussed our precarious situation regardless of whether this summer brings average precipitation, the fire risk has increased because of the exponentially increasing numbers of pine bark beetles chewing through Montana forests. Man sentenced in Spring Meadow Lake fire case Feb 8, 2009
Truscott was found guilty of arson when he started a fire at Spring Meadow Lake in 2007. A 20-year-old Helena man who set the September 2007 Spring Meadow Lake fire by lighting a homemade firework was ordered Wednesday to pay 763,000 in restitution as part of his sentencing.
