I admit that I was a bit apprehensive when I found out the beach there earned the 2007 top ranking right after I plonked down money for our summer house rental last winter. Summer party We're told Danielle deBenedictis and husband Peter Karlson, owners of Nantucket's Summer House, hosted a luncheon the other day for Congressman Patrick Kennedy and Minnesota Representative Jim Ramstad at their Palm Beach abode. We would get in a car with no seat belts, packed to the ceiling, four boys, two dogs sometimes a canary and travel to Michigan for Christmas, Florida for winter break, and in the spring we went to Washington D.C. then Williamsburg, and every weekend in the summer we spent at our summer house on the Cape. While vacationing with our parents, never did we realize that the very same family-oriented traits were being instilled in each one of us, and today we do the very same thing with our children...
